Service Description

Open Closed Eyes helps users repair photos where one or more subjects have closed eyes. The workflow is limited to uploading an image, applying a fixed eye-opening restoration process, and returning a result for download or account history.

The service is not a face swap, identity replacement, deepfake, impersonation, adult content, or unrestricted image generation tool. Users cannot enter free-form text prompts for generation.

Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate account and payment information.

Your Content and Permissions

• You may upload only photos that you own or have permission to edit.
• You retain your rights in your uploaded photos and edited results.
• You may use edited results for personal or commercial purposes when you have the necessary rights to the original photo and the people or content shown in it.
• You are responsible for making sure your use does not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, or other third-party rights.

Acceptable Use

Your use of the service must follow our Acceptable Use Policy at https://www.openclosedeyes.com/acceptable-use.

• Do not upload NSFW, explicit, sexually suggestive, exploitative, illegal, or harmful content.
• Do not use the service for face swaps, identity replacement, deepfakes, impersonation, harassment, deception, or misleading edits.
• Do not upload another person's likeness or private content unless you have permission.
• Do not attempt to bypass upload, generation, or safety controls.

Credits, Payments, and Delivery

The service sells one-time credit packs. One credit is used only after a photo restoration is successfully completed. Technical failures, upload safety blocks, and generated-output safety blocks do not consume credits.

Credits are currently valid for 10 years from purchase. Credits are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically.

Payments may be processed by our authorized payment providers. The checkout page identifies the payment processor or Merchant of Record responsible for your transaction. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy at https://www.openclosedeyes.com/refund-policy. As a general rule, a credit-pack purchase may be eligible for refund within 14 days after purchase only if no credits from that purchase have been used. Credits used for successful photo restoration and remaining credits in a partially used pack are generally not refundable unless required by law or separately agreed by support.

AI Processing and Result Quality

The service currently uses Google Nano Banana Pro for AI-assisted photo restoration. Open Closed Eyes is an independent product and is not an official Google, Gemini, or Nano Banana app.

AI results vary based on the uploaded photo, face angle, blur, lighting, occlusion, resolution, and the number of subjects. We do not promise an ideal or publication-ready result for every image.

We may block, refuse, remove, or fail to return content that violates our policies or safety controls.

Data Use

We use uploaded photos and edited results to provide, secure, operate, and support the service. We do not use user photos or edited results for model training, marketing, or public case studies unless the user gives explicit permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, payment rules, or applicable law.
